Hidden beach in Puerto Rico

Hidden beach in Puerto Rico

City Guide: Things to know before going to El Yunque

Day Trip at Calico Ghost Town

Day Trip at Calico Ghost Town

Calico is an old West mining town that has been around since 1881. The town that once gave miners a good living lost its hustle and became a “ghost town.” Today, Calico is part of the San Bernardino County Regional Parks system, which is visited by people from across the country and from all over the world. Calico Ghost Town has shops, restaurants and offers camping, hiking and off-roading. They offer a ton of different tours from tours to their different mines to ghost tours. We stopped by the Old Miner's Cafe to get breakfast while we were there and it is located at the top of Calico, where you won't find a better view while you dine on the deck. It is also located just outside of Los Angeles so it makes it an amazing place for a day trip and to shoot for some photos, here are how mine turned out Details - Open daily 9 am to 5 pm Location - 36600 Ghost Town Road, Yermo, CA 92398760.254.1123 It is a really cute and different place, and their location makes it a perfect pit stop if you are driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas or on your way back! Day Trip at Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch

Day Trip at Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch

Location - 24266 National Trails Hwy, Oro Grande, CA 92368 Elmer’s Bottle Tree Ranch was created by one man and it is an unique piece of art for others to enjoy. This collection of steel poles with bottles stuck on them is super fun to walk through and even better to photograph. Make it a for sure stop on your drive, or even an adventure in and of itself. Unfortunately, Elmer passed away in June 2019, but the art is still on display to see from the road. It feels like a forest of bottle trees and it is located along Route 66. It is the perfect spot to stop by when going to Las Vegas. It is in the heart of the California desert. As I walked in the entrance, it was hard to figure out what to focus on as there was so much going on, but it is places like this that you need to spend a reasonable amount of time just exploring to get the full experience. Elmer's was the creator of this place and he had a donation box for you to help him with his art and if you donated you can take a small piece of glass as a souvenir. Details Open sunrise to sunset Located right on Route 66 Elmer accepts donations, but it is free to enter It is a fun place to explore, and there is a lot of photo ideas you can create here, I will be showing you a couple of mine right below. If you need more stops on this stretch of Route 66, make sure to check out my post coming up, and my other day trip ideas from Los Angeles

Plan a Romantic Picnic - Valentine's Day Date Idea

Plan a Romantic Picnic - Valentine's Day Date Idea

Valentine’s is close so here is my favorite idea for a date, a PICNIC. Since every year everything is packed during Valentine's Day with my partner we have started going out and doing picnics, it can be at the park or even at the beach. We started with plastic boxes and towels and slowly we have gotten blankets, coolers and baskets to bring to out picnics. I will link the things we use at the end of this post! The Essentials Large picnic blanket - this is important to make sure you are comfortable, if you don’t have any just make sure to bring a couple towels and place them together. I have seen so many cute colors and prints, but one think I recommend is to use one that is waterproof. You can buy them from Amazon or even Target. Cooler bags and Ice - this is important t for me since I like my wine cold, we have a small bag that in insulated and works like a cooler. We love ours because it is big enough for the two of us but there are a ton of different prices and sizes so make sure to check around, ours is from Amazon Cups, plates and napkins - its sounds obvious but believe me, I have forgotten this and it is not fun to clean it all in the sea I usually buy disposable ones that do not need to be cleaned, I usually buy the cheap ones at Target but I found these cute ones online Food and drinks - I love taking wine in can like the one I showed last year from @stella and for food it can vary from a cheese table to a pizza Cheese Table - if you love cheese and charcuterie, I would say to go to Costco/Sams to get all you need and create your own cheese table right at the beach In Sams/Costco you can find even cheese tables done but I have never tried them, we usually buy cheese, jam, jelly and fruits all in the same place Water - I know it does sound like the most fun thing to bring but you might need it after that much cheese Entertainment - we usually take playing cards and we can spend hours and hours playing and eating the food Here are my favorites for picnic dates: Now, are you ready for a picnic? Whats your favorite beach food?

Brand Partnership Contract Lookout

Brand Partnership Contract Lookout

THINGS TO LOOK FOR BEFORE SIGNING A CONTRACT FOR A PARTNERSHIP Something that will come up quite often is contracts when working directly with brands. I make this list to give you an idea of things to need to make are you look at. I know this is the boring part of working with brands but make sure to READ THE WHOLE DOCUMENT. note - If you don't want to bother much with brand contracts, the best option is to work with brands in platforms and apps. Here is my ebook with a list of over 40 platforms to work with brands as well as email templates for emails with brands This to look for - EXCLUSIVITY - With this clause you agree to not work with any of the brands direct competitors for an amount of time. Make sure to ask about this when negotiating rates with a brand. And don't forget to increase your rates when this is in there. Take into account how many other partnerships you would have to say 'no' during this time because of the clause USAGE RIGHTS - Check to see if says that the brand is allowed to use the content on certain platforms for a certain amount of time. Again, this is something that you should adjust your rates accordingly. PAYMENT TERMS - You will see things like "payment upon net 30 or net 60." This means how many business days after your work is submitted that you will get paid. Don't hesitate to ask for shorter terms if they are offering a net 60 or net 90. CONTENT ASKED - I have had brands add stories and photos to the final contract that were not detailed in our previous conversations. Make sure that what they are asking for and what you have in the contract alights with the price you are charging for TIMELINE TO APPROVAL - Some brands will give you more than enough time to get the content ready to be approved and posted but one thing I have noticed and mostly during the holidays are brands asking for quick turnaround of photos and videos to be checked and approved. This is something you can add on top of you rate for since you are changing your schedule to fit them it in time Do brands want you to send them the contract? Fill this form to get an example contract Here are some of the typical sections you may choose to include in your own influencer contract: 1. Standard agreement terms that you're entering into a contract between the advertiser and the influencer. 2. Timelines of the campaign. Is this a contract for a one-off campaign, or a long-term relationship between the influencer and the advertising brand? 3. Deliverables. What precisely is the influencer expected to do as part of this contract? 4. Any approval process that the advertising firm expects the influencer to follow. 5. Confidentiality and Exclusivity. The advertiser might want to ensure that the influencer doesn't work directly for their competition. 6. Compensation. There are many ways that a brand can pay an influencer, from giving them free product, to paying an agreed flat rate, to making performance-based cash payouts. 7. Payment Terms. How exactly is payment going to be made? When are invoices going to be sent? Feel free to join our newsletter to get monthly email with tips and trick about social media Best, Fabiely

Recently, my partner and I went for a few days to Toronto, and we just got IN LOVE with that city. It was our first long trip since the pandemic started, so we enjoy every minute of it, of course we make the most of our trip by creating a lot of content, which is why today I will share to you the BEST places where you can take photos on Toronto. Edward Garden’s - Is one of the most beloved public gardens at Lawrence Avenue and Leslie Street (Mid-town) among several parks located along Toronto's ravines, many of which are connected by hiking and cycling trails and connected to the shores of Lake Ontario. The park's manicured lawns and flower beds make it a popular for tourist to take photographs, especially on this time of the year. Toronto City Hall - Is the seat of the municipal government of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and one of the city's most distinctive landmarks there you can find a very illuminated and modern Toronto Sign which is perfect to take some pictures if you want to create some travel content for your blog or social media If you’re touristing hard, you must make a stop at the Toronto Sign located in Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square. It’s just a must-check-off-your-list, but depending on when you go, they would hold events at the Square. It's one of the most photographed structures in the city, mostly due to its unique shape.and it's also a home to offices of several companies. Other places you DEFINETLY should visit while in Toronto are: Casa Loma - It is a Gothic style mansion and garden in midtown Toronto that is now a historic house museum and landmark. Due to its unique architectural character in Toronto, Casa Loma has been a popular filming location for movies and television. Few things that may help is to use a wide-angle lens or visit in the summer or spring and then try and compose your shot with flowers in the foreground. Polson Pier Skyline View - which is one of the classic Toronto spots. It’s somewhat secret as most tourists probably aren’t aware of this location. If you want to make the most of the golden hour and then the blue hour you add Polson Pier to the list of places to take good shots on Toronto. Allan Garden’s - This hidden gem is located right in the heart of the city and is surrounded by one of the city’s oldest parks. High Park - Set right in the heart of the city, High Park is full of fun photography spots any time of year. High Park is not a traditional city park. There is a big portion of the park that is still in its natural state, providing a wild experience in the middle of the concrete jungle. Blogging Mistakes I Made as a Begginner

Blogging Mistakes I Made as a Begginner

Hello there! Welcome to a new blog post! Blogging has become an excellent tool for content creators, influencers, entrepreneurs and pretty much all kind of business has taken advantage of it. With a blog you can grow traffic and build a reputation online, for that reason they’re investing their time and money in writing and promoting them. Sometimes, when you are new to blogging chances are that you will make a couple of mistakes in the process of launching a new blog and keep it running. Just when people start a new job, they usually mess things up at the beginning. Today I will share with you some mistakes I used to make at the beginning of blogging. - Not Defining Your Target Audience. This was one of my first common mistakes. The target audience for any kind of business is the group of people who are most likely to be interested in your offerings because it fulfills their specific needs. It’s essential to know relevant and specific details about your audience then with that information you can make a successful blog strategy that appeals to your audience and helps you stand out in the search engine ranks. - Blogging Inconsistently. Don’t Stop Writing!!! This is a common mistake, if your blog drives a good chunk of traffic to your site, it’s never a good idea to pause content creation. One of the biggest reasons people visit your blog is because of the fresh content they get to read on your site. If you put a pause on that your audience could lost interest in it. Sometimes when we get unmotivated we tend to stop posting, for that it’s ESSENTIAL to have a posting schedule!! - Deviating from the Target Niche. While we try to write new blog posts its very common to deviate from our niche! to cover a wide range of topics to appeal to a mass audience. The problem is that we don’t know what the audience wants to read or whether your audience will like what you write. No matter if you are an individual blogger or a business blogger, you should target a specific niche to blog about. This will help you reach out to the right audience for your business, also, your engagement rate and grows on your blog will increase and It will be easier for you to create your authority as a blogger on that specific niche. - Publishing Short Content Frequently. As I mention before the consistency is the KEY in blogging successfully, also its important to create content that span the topic you are writing about, its recommended to all bloggers to focus on creating long-form content of 2,000 words or more to answer as many questions as possible on a given topic instead of writing short content of 1,000 words or below every day. - Have No Blogging Goals. At the beginning its important to set minor goals to help you stay motivate, focus and consistent! No matter if you are a part – time blogger you should be setting short time goals. Ask yourself where do you want to see your blog grow in the next three months? When you’ve goals, you create a clearer picture and it makes it easy for you to prepare an action plan! -Focusing Too Much on SEO. If you want to improve your online visibility content, however you shouldn’t be prioritizing SEO over user experience. The first step in writing SEO content is to drive a keyword research. It will help you find the terms or phrases that can be added to your content to enhance its online visibility. - Not Using Google Analytics. This tend to happen to every new blogger. Why is so important to check out our statistics? When you know your audience demographics, high peak times, page views and more, you can improve your blogging strategy! For this you can use a tool called “google analytics” It helps to figure out the best-performing pages, and how you can improve those pages and it also determines what pages are slowing your site. - NOT Having a Mail List. Email marketing is enormous! Though social media is fast and this is where the message circulates easily but emails are still effective. If you have a blog and you want to turn it into a business in future, then having an email list is crucially important, also is a great way of interacting with your audience!! - NOT Using a Social Share Button. If you’re missing this step you’re already losing readers, it’s so important your audience can share easily your content to other platforms. It’s easy to use a plugin, and activate it on your website. Some free options are social pug, warfare, Sumo me. - NOT being authentic. The competition online is HUGE! Almost every niche is crowded, you need to show yourself a genuine person to build a following. Your readers want a trusted person to share their experiences, so start creating unique content, content that you actually like and stop copying others! just get inspired and transform your own ideas! - NOT Promoting Blog Content. Promoting your content is so important to increase its reach. You must promote your blog posts on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn to increase your content visibility. As you see there are a lot of mistakes we tend to do as we start blogging! We all have been there! The best thing is to identify such blogging mistakes and grow faster. I hope this tips help you avoid this kind of mistakes! What other tips have you made while starting blogging?
